The Adventures of Lee and Boo

The Adventures of Lee and Boo was conceived on Children’s Day, May 27 2010 by Enuma Chigbo, who says she also hopes to inculcate Nigeria’s issues, beauty and potential through vivid colourful and humorous animation.
The star characters Lee and Boo are 10 and nine years old respectively, who live in Barcala (Calabar backwards) City. With the rest of their gang, Becky, Frankie and Sammy, they get to tour great places and have a lot fun but not without prayers and hard work.
In the debut edition Bye Bye Pneumonia, there is a trip to the famous Yellow City at stake and they have to participate and win the school dance competition in order to get there. However, the horrible monster pneumonia is determined to put a damper on the children’s enthusiasm by making them ill thereby throwing the entire school in chaos. But, there is always a way out and hope rears its head through Boo’s guardian angel Sebastian and the children are happy again.

The second, third and fourth episodes Up on Dubu Mountain, Turning around in Yellow City, Kicking in Baziland will feature Lee and Boo in the pristine Obudu Mountain Resort, in Jamaica and Brazil. These witty yet educative episodes will showcase the scenic beauty of Cross River State, as well as blend her culture with different cultures overseas.

Chiga Chiga

This feature length animation movie tells the story of Nigeria, using animals. It’s based on a poem on bulls by Osi Peter Asika, and is set against the backdrop of the enchanting Obudu Mountain Resort. The star animal Chiga Chiga, a borrowed name from Chiga Mountain, a man said to be one of the oldest people in that vicinity is a camel clearly different from the rest of the animals there but instrumental to saving the country “Bullgeria” – a country led by bulls from total devastation.
